Dumb quest- Bellarino/Wildrose

Dumb quest- Bellarino/Wildrose

I went to see both about a month apart, and can't decied between the two. If anyone has visited both - can you give me your opinons on the differances between their styles? They seemed to be the same to me? Otherwise I may have to see both again? I'm looking for that story like style. Please help

I think Wild Rose is so much more creative, their editing MUCH cleaner , their work is unbeatable, IMO, & they are much nicer people to deal with. To me there was no comparison!

I am a Bellarino Bride. I did not see Wildrose but I chose Bellarino because I liked their style, prices and I loved Phil and Kate.

I'm sorry, I did not visit both, but I have to say, I met with Bellarino and FH and I fell in LOVE with Phil's work and booked them right away! We felt we did not need to meet with anyone else. His style is the story book style you are looking for, no cheesy sound effects or graphics. I cannot speak for Wild Rose as I did not meet with them, but felt after meeting with Phil, my search for a videographer was over. Good luck!

I didn't meet w/ both, just Bellarino. I booked North Shore Video. A vendor on here. I felt the same way as jennbaby. The quality at bellarino was not the highest, IMO, and the picture was very grainy. His editing was not the best I had seen. Just my honest opinion.

I met with both and booked Bellarino. I saw a difference in their work, but both do a great job and do not have the cheesy animation I found in other videos. Alot of the style is the same with b&w and sepia, etc... Howver, I would say if you want a story book type video - Wild Rose may be more like that. Their videos were complete stories and a bit too dramatic for my taste. JMO. Go back and see more of both if you want.

I looked at both - and while bellarino was nice and their work was good - I personally didn't think that there was any comparison. They are very different. Bellarino was more like a straight forward video whereas wild rose - was more artistic and more I guess I can use your term 'fairtale?'. I loved their quality and their artistic eye. I felt that they were not just creating a video but were for argument sake - say creating a piece of artwork of your wedding day.

I did not go to Bellarino, but I went to WIld ROse, and I loved their video and they came highly recommended to me. ALso Bill and Marie seemed like such nice people.

I booked Bellarino. I love their work and it was straight and to the point. I am not a fan of all the extra effects that are added to wedding videos. Phil and Kate are great people. I didn’t see Wild Rose.

I really loved wild rose as well but the prices were so much and Bellarino was just as good at a fraction of the price there was no question for me. Phil and kate are so sweet

I never saw Wild Rose but from what I hear they really do Great work. We went with Bellarino because I loved their unobtrusive style, the demo brought tears to my eyes and Phil was an absolute pleasure to deal with! I can't wait!!!

As someone who has worked in TV for over seven years, I was really happy when I booked Bellarino. Excellent style, professional equipment and beautiful editing.... I saw Wild Rose's demos on their site -- and I just didn't feel their prices were worth it for me.

Both are great, though. I'm sure you won't regret either one

Thanks for the comments!! I don't know if it's me but, When I watched Bellarino's tapes, the colores did not seem as vivid as wild rose? I made a comment to him, but then again I didn't have my glasses with me and maybe that would have made a differnce? Did anyone notice that? I questioned him, thinking maybe it was too much flash and it caused the color to be paler? Did anyone notice this???

There are many reasons for a color difference. it can even be the monitor or TV you are watching it on.
I am a Wild Rose bride and a very happy one. I think it all comes down to your gut instinct sometimes. I met wiwth 7 vendors prior (not Bellarino though) and when I met with Bill and Marie I knew they were the right vendor for us. I have no idea what Bellarino's prices are so I cannot comment about one price vs. another. All I can say is that I didn't even know I was being video taped the entire day. I have moments caught on tape that I don't remember or never saw the day of the wedding. I couldn't ask for a nicer video.

One last note - FH sat down and crunched the numbers and depending on what package you went with - he found that if you took bellarino and added in what WR was offering - for their second package that actually they were the same price. With I could be wrong but WR as 50$ or 100$ cheaper. (but if you take the package as it comes - it appears to be a few hundred cheaper i.e. no dvd, etc)
