An invite also functions as a memento so yes I we are sending invites to the bridal party. Also it informs them if they are invited with a guest.

My friend even sent a invite to herself and her DH so they'd get something in the mail while they waited for RSVPs! It was actually good because it reassured her that they came thru the mail OK. This is a good thing with your BP also, since you may talk to them more frequently than others and they can tell you what the envelope looked like when it arrived, whether anything was bent, whether it didn't get there, etc.

We're sending our entire BP invites. Our parents too. EVERYONE that is invited will get an invite.

I was told that traditionally u are supposed to address them to ure bridal party and hand deliver them as a momento...im thinking of doing that so that they dont get ruined in the mail!

Yes, that way I didnt forget to count them for the reception! That is something that I would do.

That is a great idea!! I never thought of sending myself an invite. I agree that your BP can let you know if they got to them ok (you would be amazed at what the post office can do to a piece of mail) and this way they will know if they can bring a guest.
