Well- I think a lot of people will answer this differently.. My mom and aunt are giving my shower. Every shower I have gone to has been hosted by the MOB. I think that is more of a new tradition though.

Yup, I agree with Randella. Every shower I have been to has been hosted by the MOB with help from the MOH and BM.

I have noticed this, too.... BUT, traditionally, it's supposed to be hosted by the brides friends (ie BP). If you think about it, it makes sense. The MOB/FOB is traditionally supposed to pay for the wedding, so it wouldn't be fair for the MOB to pay for the shower as well... plus, it's supposed to be a 'bachelorette' thing for the ladies.
But we all know that tradition is pretty much out of the window, since we all do what we want nowadays.... I had a shower AND a bachelorette party... lol.

my mom didn't like the plans my girls were working on and knew they couldn't afford what she wanted to throw for me, so she decided to throw it with the girls' permission...they had no problem with this. My MIL offered to chip in too. It was awesome
