...But what exactly happens at a bridal showcase? I haven't been to one yet, and I'm going my first one at East Wind on the 13th.

You get a chance to meet with different vendors including DJs, photo/video, limos, florists, etc. You have a chance to ask them questions and get as much information as possible. Have fun, girls!

I'll be there too! Can't wait! I've only been to one showcase before, it was at te watermill, there were tons of vendors and so much food we didn't need to eat dinner lol

I'm going to one at Crest Hollow on Jan 16, I'm mainly going to see flowers since I have to choose from their vendors. Everything else (besides limos) is already booked.

I am going to the one at Crest Hollow, my banquet manager said they will not be serving food, I am mad! LOL , RoandJO, have you met with any of their florists yet?? I met with Distinctive today and Kelly was such a sweet heart

We haven't met with florists yet! We booked so many things at once and put so many payments down that we wanted to take a little break. Plus, I HATE flowers and wanted to put it off as long as possible. We're going to probably start looking after the showcase :)

They are fun! A little bit of advice: if you haven't done so already, make up a 'wedding only' email address. I made the mistake of signing up for a showcase using my regular email and one day I woke up to 100+ emails. And they don't stop!!! The same companies will email you over and over and over again (it is a business after all). It's much easier to deal with when using a separate account. Especially after the wedding day is over and you can just forget the email address exists!

FH and I went to a showcase at atlantis. we loved it. mostly because I got to pet the sting rays. haha but so much fun we had. really got us in the wedding spirit together.
