all weddings i've been to are one favor per couple, and that's what i'm planning to do.
but i've heard mentioning of one favor per couple. how is that done? where do you put the favors? and how are they allocated?

5 couples to a table -- 5 favors to a table. If you have singles at a table, you may want to leave one for each of them.

Um, that would look messy....how about in between each place setting? That way they know it's one per every other person (couple). Good luck!

My hall's seating chart they ask me to fill our says on each table..
Number of people: Number of favors:
Then they space them out around the place settings.

I think it depends on what type of favors you have. If you're doing picture frames/table cards, it's much easier to distribute favors.
If it's something like chocolates, it's a little bit harder. I think you'd have to figure out your seating charts first.

let's say the table will have 3 couples and a few singles.
yes, i know i'll need 7 favors for that table... but i can't control which seats they pick at the table, right?? so how do i place them in between settings?
sorry.. i know this is dumb, i just have never seen it before and can't really figure it out...

If you're having a hard tme you can always go around and personally hand them out. That's what I'll be doing.

i think most people pay attention to he number on the table - if there are lots one per person and if a smaller amount one per couple
you can still do one per person if you want- for food it is usually done this way
but picture frames are usually one per couple because placecards are used in them and usually say 'mr & Mrs. XXX'
