Re: Dumpsters
We were going to get one, but they are really expensive. Instead, I just gave the garbage men $200 to take everything away.

I think we pay $400 for a 20 yd...I'll have to check with DH. (we've had at least 6 dumpsters here over the past 4 years)

Winter Brothers, forgot how much we paid when my Dad's house burned down but they were a good price and will deliver and pickup anywhere.

I seem to have a dumpster every few months, and we usually get them from Winter Bros. They're usually about $225 for a 10 yard - $300 for a 20 yard.....I think...
Of the dumpster companies, they're pretty good (and nice to work with)

And their dumpsters all have shamrocks on them, perfect for St Pats Day!

how did your dad's house burn down?
It was an electrical fire. He lost everything. Everything that wasn't burnt to a crisp was completely black. The fire started at one room at one end of the house and candles and a plastic clock all the way at the other end of the house were melted! Shampoo bottles in the shower were melted...it was so bad. The fire went right through the roof.
being that Im a picture freak I think I have some pics here at work on my computer...
one is the blackened bathroom wall and other is his bedroom
But the whole house was re-done and looks great now! What a mess it was though!! Everything was just destroyed. I will never look at a burned down house the same again.

Re: Dumpsters
when getting the dumpster make sure you get unlimited weight in the event you are throwing out dirt, concrete ect. (heavy stuff) cause if its not unlimited you could get charged extra
