i know that during the shower the guys are suppose to get together to do something. when my SIL had her shower, my dad got my brother & his friends & some of the other guys togethe to play cards.
i don't know what to do for FH. his dad passed away so he wont be able to orchestrate anything. so i tell FH to just pass the word around for the guys to get together or should i have my dad do it?

I thought the father of the bride always did it? Even if it isn't tradition that they do, I think that would be nice. I'm prety sure my dad did for my BIL who's father passed. He organized a golf outting for them all and all had.a great time

me too. i think my dad and FH's involvement will be picking up the gifts at the end of the day.

Well that's really the only involvement in the shower part that they traditionally have. But during the shower, all the guys usually get together and either hang out and have a few drinks or go somewhere. I would say to have your dad or the GM's put something together for your FH.

ooooo...when this time comes i will need help. my dad is too laid-back to do any of this type of planning. haha. right now the biggest issue is figuring out what song to choose for our dance. he has 2 left feet too. but i love him :)
