During this wedding process did you have any 'bumps' in the road?
My bridesmaid dresses came in wrong. They were supposed to be bordeaux and they came in black. I was pretty disappointed, but luckily we have plenty of time to reorder.
What about you? Any bumps???

I had more of a mountain FH and my mother having a huge fight and she said she is not paying for her part of the wedding, which amounts to about 1/2 of the RH I just keep trying to laugh to keep from crying. Prior to this it was smooth sailing

My bridesmaid dresses came in a dark shade of peach but we had enough time to re-order and now they are the right color. YAY!
Another sort of bump was when we had booked a photog and videographer and DJ and then I hated everything and had to cancel everything but it was really early on in planning so I was able to cancel...lost a small portion of the deposit and got to book the vendors I really wanted.

a few bumps! my MOH forgot to mail in her deposit for the dress so her and the BM dresses didnt get ordered till 2 months after they were suppose to be!
but that actually turned out ok, because she also found out she was preggers and will be 9 months by the time of the wedding so she needed a maternity dress.
when the BM dresses came in i hated them at first! was this close to ordering completely new ones! but now they are growing on me!
I also hate our favors! we are doing mini champagne bottles with personalized lables, and we were told the best way to do that was get the bottles from your local liquor store and we did that and god the lables online, well the lables are prob a little bit too big for the bottles, so they crinkled when we put them on!! we put them in organza bags to hopefully hide how retarded they look!!!

oh yea..... BM got pregnant in April, totally unplanned and BAD situation. It was a mess- but she ended up having a miscarriage.
Then I asked the girls to order their dresses by April 30. Same BM kept putting it off and off, and so they didn't all get ordered until LAST THURSDAY. I am praying they come in in time, because I have to get them to the girls who live all over the state and leave them time for alterations.
My invites haven't gone out yet, but I'm sure I will have my share of 'RSVP drama' that we've all come to know and dread

slight 'bump' with invitations. The vendor rectified and everything was fine. Everything else went completely as planned and nothing went wrong!

Let's see, a town festival is going on the day of my wedding. I was told that it was the following weekend, had to do detour directions.
BM dropped out, not a fun experience.
I think that's it so far. : )

Re: During this wedding process did you have any 'bumps' in the road?
Well a few so far i'm really hoping that's the worst...
1. our STD got ran over by a truck before we got them (they had tire marks on them it was very comical) Vistaprint.com was amazing and sent us more at no additional charge!!!! (shameless vendor rave)
2. My mom did my invitations for us since she doesn't get to be as involved as she wants in our planning (she is on the West Coast) and we miscommunicated and um nobody was invited with a guest No biggie we just called everybody lol
3. (a good bump) the place I ordered my BM dresses from grossly undercharged me... I'm paying like 25% of what I was supposed to... I'm not gonna mention their names until after my wedding
Hopefully that's it!!!!!

I broke my foot 6 weeks before my wedding... Biggest bump ever! Luckly the cast will be off the week before the wedding, but having a cast on during the busiest time of my wedding planning, and having to buy new shoes just in case I can't wear the beautiful heals I brought for the wedding, has been a real bummer!!!!

Nothing big yet. I'm actually going to look at my BM dresses on saturday to make sure they are right. I'm hoping that isnt going to be an issue for me

FH AND SISTERS don't talk, they are trying to convince his side of the family not to come, FMIL got into terrible car accident in May, and won't be able to walk or dance at the wedding, but thank god she will be able to be there, and hopefully she will be out of rehab by then, invites went out w/out direction cards, Ithink thats it for now...hopefully that will ever be it.

Fortunately, nothing too major. My first print of STDs had a purply blue tinge to them, like the yellow ink level was too low. The second print it was STILL bluish, and then the vendor completely changed their tune and said that it is impossible to match the colors as they appear on the screen. If that's the case, then how come photos are printed in real color?

The biggest bump to date was picking the RH, because we reserved our date where we wanted it, only to find out FMIL's best friends son picked the same date two days before us. LE didn't have another date that worked for us, so we were trying to find somewhere else, but I wasn't as happy with any other place. I did a lot of crying that week.
Oh and we didn't have enough envelopes for our invites, but that got resolved quickly.
So far those have been the only hiccups. But KNOCK ON VIRTUAL WOOD!!!

well let's see...
1. I got coerced into inviting some kids we dont even know. still not happy about it.
2. fsil causing limo drama ( not letting her kids be on the party bus, making fbil drive behind us)
3. the bachlorette party nightmare which resulted in me canceling it
4. i am not thirlled with my dress in the back
5. the whole situation with ashley has been a mountain, that keeps getting bigger and bigger (her enzymes are high and she now needs a biopsy)

Lets see.... today, me not being able to get my dress on without being pushed into it by 2 people... yeah, not a great feeling... and taking home the wrong dress for my moh... she ordered a totally diff style than what i ended up taking home... hopefully it was just a simple mistake.... we'll find out tomorrow
oh yeah and having a jr bm who is too big for a juniors dress... so all of that had to be reworked... and now my other tony jr bm is going to have a dress thats swimming on her... what issues
