I just got married and I would never of believed anyone when they say 'it goes by so fast' because I promised myself that I was not going to let it, BUT, it truly does. I tried so hard to 'mentally slow it down' and when it was over it felt like an hour long. As a bride, all I can say is that it is inevitable. People want to talk and take pics, etc. I was on the dance floor with my FH as much as I could be. We got served dinner 15 minutes earlier to make sure we could walk around and say thank you. I am so happy that we decided to do that because we were then able to go to the tables that weren't dancing. Good Luck to all the future brides. It is the most amazing feeling to be married.

I always hear that your wedding goes by so fast and you have to take in every minute of it. All that planning and it's over before you know it. Your right it is inevitable! I liked that idea of being served 15 mins earlier. I can't wait to be married!!!

Congratulations!! Yes I hear the famous 'it goes by so fast' that is why I convinced my FH to get a videographer to remember the day. Good Luck to you and your NEW husband!

What we are doing for our wedding is have most of our pictures taken before the ceremony. That way we have more time to be together and with our guest. I just want to have fun, thats all we are trying to focus on.
