DVD!

How much are DVD's these days?

I wanted to buy one for my brother, and looked it up on amazon and it was $22.50!!!!

Did I miss something?

Thanks guys! I just bought by brother and his wife a combo pack of Dodgeball and Stuck on You for Christmas (i'm going to NY next week and didn't see them for the holidays). I'm going to buy a big popcorn bowl and put in both DVDs with a box of microwave popcorn. Since they have the new baby, they can't go out much anymore.

Best buy has good prices. Or Walmart. (Star wars trilogy for appx $41)
Don't think I've ever spent more than $16 on a DVD. Unless it was a special edition of some sort.

yep - $20 and up is about right. The box sets are even worse - I got Craig the Star Wars DVD trilogy for Christmas - almost $70.00, and that was WITH my Borders discount!!

I got the 'collectors' VanHelsing for a friend for Christmas at Tower, and it cost $55.00...for friggin Van Helsing!

It disturbs me that there is a collectors editon of that.
