DYI Program and Kids activity book

Hi Girls, i shed my first tear yesterday throughout this whole planning, and it was over a kids activity book!
There will be a few kids at our reception and i wanted to make an activity book to keep them busy. I used publisher to make the book, but putting it together is a trip! My printer does not print double sided so every other page is blank. I have to make my program book soon and i sure to have the same issue again. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to put together a program booklet? Please help! My wedding is in 3 weeks.

its a little more complicated, but you can run the paper back through again. mine also does not do double sided, but you just need figure out how the paper needs to go back in in order to print on the back.

i did our program layout for 8.5x14 paper to be folded in the middle, which was quite a bit more complicated because it involved 2 'pages' on each surface of each piece of paper, and i had to rearrange them so they would come out properly when folded and printed front/back. however, you can do it very simply by printing one side, taking the page, putting it back in, and printing the other side

Sounds like a wonderful idea, & even though I do a LOT of DIY projects....that wouldn't be one. I give you a lot of credit...I'd be at the dollar store making a little bag of goodies.....
