Dyker Beach Golf Course

Hi Ladies,

I was wondering if anyone has any information, reviews, etc. on the Dyker Beach Golf Course in Brooklyn. It looks beautiful from the photos I have seen online, but would like to see if anyone has reviews from events there or has estimated pricing.

I went to a christening there- it was basically a wedding!!! The baby was announced and had a first and second dance- 250 people and a 5 1/2 hour reception!

Anyway, about the hall... the property is beautiful!! Really nice, and large party room, elegant cocktail room and a gorgeous deck outside for cocktails and or smokers! The service was great too.

Coctail hour food was average, but the dinner and venetian hour made up for it by far!

I don't think it's crazy expensive, but if I had to guess I'd say $100 pp ?

Sounds nice but a bit more than we were anticipating to spend.

I wanted to add my two cents. the interior and exterior patio is gorgeous. However:

1. There is a gazebo outside where they offer outdoor ceremonies. The catch is the local street goes right by it, so it'll be in your pictures, and the golfers are really close.

2. there is a hefty site fee. I think it was either 2,500 or 5,000 dollars, no joke. Price for a summer month on Saturday night was definitely over 125.00 after taxes.

Pros:
Location. Right in Brooklyn! Perfect for those who live nearby or in Manhattan. Public transportation and taxis are doable.

Interior. Modern. Not dated. I seriously considered it but I was adamant about the outdoor ceremony and not crazy about the site fee. Hope this helps.

When I first got engaged about a year and a half ago I stopped in there and got very basic information.. I was told that the place had jut opened at that time and the price was about 150+pp... however by the time I was looking to get married .. they plan on being in direct competition with Russos, Palm House, etc. which means

I also was a bit turned off by the service.. the lady rushed me .. didnt even give me a menu bc she was 'busy' while theere was nobody else in sight! She also took my email and said she would send me additional info but never did...
