Is it RIDICULOUS to put a $450 vacuum on my registry because its a Dyson, with the ball that can go anywhere and Ive just ALWAYS been dying for a Dyson???
It is right? I have a MUCH cheaper one on there like a hoover for like $200 cause I did/do feel weird about it, but I am just DYINGGGGGGGG for a Dyson... Any opinions would be appreciated =)

My friend put one on her registry for like $500. Even if you don't get it as a gift from one person, maybe you will get gift cards from multiple people that you can put towards your dream vac.

I have the Dyson, FH and I bought it when we got our first apartment. That thing is a GODSEND!!!!!
It's ok to put some expensive items on there. Some people will go in on gifts together, or some family members might be looking to be very generous. For instance, FIL's bought me my new $600 pot and pan set for our e-party. That was something I expected a few people to go in together on.
Worst comes to worst, you buy it off the registry yourself after the wedding and you get a discount. And you can use gift cards that you receive towards it.

Another friend did the same thing and her bms chipped in and got it for her.

I second Laura's comments. FH bought a Dyson although I thought the price was ridic and let me tell you, that thing picks up EVERYTHING. FH is obsessed with seeing how much it will pick up so he vacuums obsessively! So, not only does it work miracles by making your floors super clean, it also works miracles by making a guy WANT to vacuum!

Put it on your registry!! You will never get it if you don't try to get it from someone else lol. Some people will spend that much on you, or maybe a few people will chip in to get it for you. If you think about it, it's a lot cheaper than getting multiple sets of china, and you'll actually use your vacuum WAY MORE than china!!

I got mine already off my registry because my vacuum broke and my mama bought it for me...
Its awesome!!!!!!! FH thinks its 'heavy' which makes him stupid, I think its light and easy to use :)

put it on the registry. Even if people dont get it for you there is usually a 10% discount for registry completion.

We put a dyson on our registry!!! Half the girls that I worked with chipped in and bought it for us. We registered at Macys, and they just happened to have a 20% off coupon on top of it. You never know. I would def put it on there though...Its the most amazing vaccuum. I am a dyson user forever now lol

I think you should do it!
It's totally fine to put expensive things on your registry because some people pool together to get things. (As long as there are a range of moderately and lower priced items as well)
Plus, if people don't want to purchase an expensive item, they can select from the rest of the list!

Thanx ladies!!!!!!! Im totally adding it!!!!!! =))) Your right! And I have a TON of reasonably priced items and this will only be like maybe the 3rd VERY expensive item I have on there. Everything else I chose was TOTALLY reasonable!
