i had the same dilemma. now after reading this post im going to put it on my registry. YAY!
You never know! Your aunts or friends or BMs might chip in for it or maybe you'll get gift certificates from people. I would put it up there and if you don't get it, then go buy the Hoover for yourself later.
My dilemma wasn't with a vacuum but it was whether or not to put the Le Creuset cast iron pot set that I have been lusting after on my registry. Their cheapest set starts at $349 and up. I didn't put it at first but then I thought to myself, that this is a time where people will want to treat you and how your registry should be your dream list and so I put it!!!!
put it on - some people may chip in - my bridal party got me the dyson
put it on, if noone gets it for you then you can always buy i tafter most place take 10% off any items left on ur regeristy
Which model are people registering for? I had the concern about it being too heavy, wondering if some are lighter than others?

I second Laura's comments. FH bought a Dyson although I thought the price was ridic and let me tell you, that thing picks up EVERYTHING. FH is obsessed with seeing how much it will pick up so he vacuums obsessively! So, not only does it work miracles by making your floors super clean, it also works miracles by making a guy WANT to vacuum!![]()
