E party

Hi! I am newly engaged and was wondering when is it appropriate to have an e-party? I was engaged Thanksgiving weekend, wedding not til 2007.

you should have it whenever you're ready for it! i know, thats a cop out answer. but seeing as i had mine on saturday.. the sooner the better, cause they're really fun! FH and i got engaged on Oct 2nd and had our eparty on Dec 4th... we're getting married on May 5th & 22nd. since you're wedding is farther away you may want to have something in the next coming months just so you can celebrate your engagement and space out the parties.. so you can be enjoying everything for 2 years! lucky girl!

ME TOO! (engaged thanksgiving, wedding 2/2007) I think we're going to have the e-party in the spring/summer. We have a lot of people! (and we'd like to finish out the school year.) I agree with the other ladies- you can have it whenever you want!

My friend was engaged in August, had her e-party a couple weeks ago. So many people bought gifts, and now she has absolutely nowhere to keep them in her tiny NYC apt, - her wedding is late 2006 (no date yet.) Keep that in mind! Good luck, and look forward to planning with you!
