E Party

We got engaged in Feb 2002, getting married in Nov 2003. Do you think it's to late to have an E Party considering everyone already knows about the wedding?

I don't think its too late to have an E-Party. Something small with close friends and family would be nice.

It's not too late at all. We got engaged in Sept. 2000, had our E-party in Oct. 2001 and got married in June 2002. My Mom insisted that the E-party should only be 6-8 months before the wedding.

When do you plan on having the eparty? Mine will be a year away from the wedding. But my main reason for having one is for our families and friends to meet.
It really would depend on when you plan on doing it. I wouldn't suggest holding it in the summer. Too close to the wedding.

I don't think its too late...IMO, I wouldn't do it too close for a few reasons: It may take away form the wedding if its close, you may feel like 'we just did this' and second, you are asking your guests to give an engagement gift, a shower gift (for some) and a wedding gift in a short period of time.
I would consider doing it around Feb. it gives your guests 9 months in between
