How many of you are having one? FH and I decided not to have one... I felt like it was too much to ask all of his people to fly here twice since NONE of them live here. But now I feel like the only person in the world not having one!!!

We are having one, but we didn't invite everyone- we're inviting 330 to the wedding and about 115 to the E-party.
The only really far away OOTers that are coming are ones that would be here on LI anyway during the summer anyway.
We have a couple coming down from Boston, and 7 people coming in from PA. But those really aren't that far.

im not having 1. my bro is getting married next month, so for me to have an Eparty, then his wedding, then my shower, then my wedding.. its way too much to ask. i know i would be freaking annoyed if i got 284902 invites for the same people lol
im skipping the eparty. no big deal.

I had one only bc my family insisted on throwing me one. We didn't invite everyone who we're inviting to the wedding and it was small. I'm not a big party person so pleaded for them not to throw me one but they did.

we are having one in august. we originally werent going to have one, but then decided it would be fun. we invited about 170 (i know, crazy) but alot are my family that lives out of state, that arent coming anyway). our final number will be around 125 or so. just a beach house BBQ. hopefully it all works out!!

We had an e-party brunch. But we only had around 50 people, and they were all local guests. It was the bridal party, their spouses, close family, and a few other really close friends.

We just had immediate family only and we did it at a park. Low key nothing big. But alot fo people don't have eparties. Alot of people on LIW had..... Do what works for you!

We did it a a local firehouse, had it catered, had a DJ...I DIYd the invites and decor..
It was a blast!!! Everyone had a great time...we even had a Nacho Cheese Fountain (like from Talladega Nights )
My parents paid for it, and we were able to keep the cost really reasonable!

We're not having one either. I never really thought of having one; for me, the shower and wedding is enough - but we also have a couple of parties before and after the wedding in Bengali tradition. Adding an E-Party on top of all that would make me want to slit my wrists, I think...in total, there will be: - A shower - A big party at work (they go all out) - A bachelorette party - A bachelor party - Rehearsal Dinner - Holud (Bengali tradition - party the night before the wedding) - Wedding - Groom's party (Bengali tradition - party for extended family)

OMFG....first off, Talladega Nights is one of my favorite movies. Ever. Secondly, that is so EFFING AWESOME that you replicated the fountain!!!!!!!!!!!

we had one.. but the only reason we did was for our families all to meet.. we had it at a park to save money and brought our own food and alcohol.. and since Fh is a caterer and owns a bar.. we were able to get the food and drinks for a lot less than cost..... :)

We are having ours 7-11 @ my rents house. We are having a small wedding so its going to be a small eparty--but enough for me and fh.
