E-Party

Soo we booked the place for our E-Party yesterday !!! We are having it September 26, how far in advance do I send out the invitations? And second question do I have to use the same colors I plan on using for the wedding??? TIA

My e-party was 12/7 and we had an RSVP date of 11-15, and invites went out before Halloween...it worked out fine. We didn't need a final headcout or anything before the party. It was a catered buffet and we had tons of food!

i'd send them out a month before to really give notice and no for the colors! use whatever yo ulike

I sent my e-party invites about a month before, and the RSVP date was 2 weeks before.

I didn't really do a theme at all for my e-party. It was pretty casual and relaxed.

Our party is August 15th and we sent out the invites on Monday. We figure a lot of people go away over the summer so we know everyone will have enough notice. I would say like 6 weeks before because if it's at a restaurant or something you'll have to give a final count a week or 2 before. And I'm using the same colors that I'm using for the wedding.

I sent my e-party invites about a 6 weeks before, and the RSVP date was 2 weeks before.

I used pink and green for the colors of the e-party, but for the wedding I am using eggplant purple with accents of pink & green.

we just ordered them! the rsvp date is 10/8 party is 11/8 we need to give a final head count and what not bec its at the westbury manor...

we are doing a very fall/harvest themse....gold and ivory with lots of the fall accents...

the wedding is more like fall but jewl toned....

Our is Saturday () - we sent out the invites about 8 weeks before and the rsvp date was 2 weeks before the day... So you have some time. Happy Planning!!

No theme for mine. We sent ours out a month 1/2 before.

We sent ours out about 7 weeks before. I like to get things done early.
Also, we didn't use the same colors for our E-party as we are using for the wedding. I like the idea of using a different color scheme, you get to try something else you like!

OMG thats the date we picked for our party!!! Yeah so excited....although we are still looking for a place to have it!!!! If we find something soon (hopefully) I was going to send out invites by the end of July.

I sent out the invites 2 months before, made the RSVP date a month before, and was still chasing down people for quite awhile.

I don't think it's necessary to send them out THAT early, I'm just compulsive about getting things out.

You can use whatever colors you like, they don't have to be the same as your wedding... I would say send the invites out 6ish weeks before... unless you have a headcount deadline date... then sooner.
