Hey girls! I have only been engaged for a little over a week and I am already asking for help. lol
I am looking into places to have our engagement party and wanted to see if any of you girls had any suggestions. I live in Lindenhurst so somewhere not to far would be perfect!
Thanks in advance

Re: E-Party
Congratulations on getting engaged!
I had my e-party in a tent (pics in my albums) so I can't really suggest anywhere for you unless you're looking in Suffolk.

Re: E-Party
NW crashing ;)
what about the place by bergen point, i went to an eparty there once, it was nice.
also there are some restaurant type places in bay shore that are nice, i think captain bills is one of them
or you can go old school sweet 16 style and have it at galaxy.
how about hot pink and lime green for the colors???

Re: E-Party
Hi Danielle lol I went to Captain Bills today. The lady was very very pushy and thought I should have a cocktail party which is 3 hours and doesn't really serve food but has a pasta station and a carving station. It is one of the places that we are considering though but having a buffet style party not the cocktail party. The only negative is the price - when you add the open bar and if you want the appetizers it is more than we wanted to spend for the E-party.
I am having between 80-100 people at the party. The place doesn't have to be to fancy or anything just somewhere nice.

Re: E-Party
I had mine at a restuarant in Queens, why don't you try Milk and Sugar / the Victorian Room? I'm not sure if that is your style but they are very reasonably priced I looked into it for my sister in laws baby shower

Re: E-Party
I'm having mine at Westbury Manor and they apparently gave my FH family a really great deal.
But I have been to one at Molly Mallon's in Bay Shore - near where the Fire Island Ferries leave from. They had the whole upstairs rented out and it had a deck to go outside - it was really nice and we had a great time.
