E-Party Booked!!

Haha...I really wish I was saying RECEPTION HALL BOOKED!!!! hehe but we are waiting until May to book a place. We are having it on Friday June 15th from 7-11:30pm


but atleast I finalized where we are having our e-party. Fh didn't want to do it at his house cause he didn't want to have to worry about his snotty neighbors and having a DJ late at night and them complaining. Plus he wanted to be able to enjoy himself get drunk and then leave after we all have a good time and not worry about cleaning up. I agreed and finally went yesterday and put the down payment on the party! Now I just need a DJ cause my mom won a gift certificate to a balloon store- so she is getting the ballons (didnt want to do flowers or anything crazy as centerpieces) for the tables!!

Any color suggestions?? haha don't know what kind of balloons I should get- and anyone with DJ prices FM please.

Yeah High Voltage is great! I booked them!

Well it's weird, I found the place in the phone book. It is a family runned caterering company. They own a deli, and caterer to outside which obviously they cater to. So the deli is in Bohemia but the hall we rented in in Oakdale. The company is called Family Catering. But the hall which they rented out to us is called An Elegant Affair.

SO they charge us 25.95$ per person for beer wine and soda. But if we didnt want to pay open bar price which is like almost 10$ more - they said we can bring our own liqour and the bartender will make drinks with it!!

And they let us choose our own color linens and they charge a flat rate of $50 for 4 balloons at each table (having about 6 or 7 tables) Get an amazing # of chooses from the buffet menu and a cake of our choice.

SO FH and I were sold!! Now if I book High Voltage- the whole thing will cost us under $2,700. YAH!!!! (We are only having about 60-70 people.

Congrats I went to a sweet 16 there years ago (ugh, i feel old just saying that haha) and the place is really nice!!!

Good luck with the dj....I am going to discuss it with FH and call them Monday probably and hopefully get the ball rolling. We are slacking big time!!!

And anyone having an informal eparty....party city has alot of wedding decorations for 50% off. I got these really cute white table cloths with grey hearts on them for only 50 cents!! Can you tell we are on a budget for the eparty too Id rather spend more money on food, booze and music!!!
