you could just do little bowls with floating candles....they would look very pretty and you can probably find them very cheap.

I did a gold and red holiday theme so I DIYed it.

I bought tall cylinder vases and filled with gold or red tinsel and topped with alternating gold and red flowers I bought from Dollar Tree...Everyone loved them and then we tied some gold and red balloons to the base. They looked really pretty and NOT cheesey!

ours were balloon centerpieces, my sister took metal buckets and got flower balloons and made it look like a plant and she also had little vases with fake gerbera daisies on the tables

Re: E-Party Centerpieces

We did picture frames (8x11) with pictures of FH and me from various occasions that we liked the best. The frames were a beautiful brush silver. Total cost: Frames: $30 from Michaels; Pictures: Around $10 from CVS. We than alternated that with every other table with inexpensive stem vase holders from Ikea ( I think they were $5 each), which held a white flower and greenery, ( I bought a bundle of them for $12 from the florist and she threw in some greens) and a peacock feather ( $15 for bundle). Novita supplied us the tea lights for the smaller tables and bars. But it was a big hit and conversation starter for sure.

We're going to do something with seashells & sand in a Message in a Bottle glass. Cheap b/c we're just getting the shells and sand from the beach!
