Just wanted to know if there is anything that we have to do at our e-party. Are there any speeches that need to be made or activities? Any ideas anyone??? Thanks!!!

Re: E-Party Etiquette
My Dad made a sweet toast to us, other than that we didn't really do anything formal. we didn't want our e-party to be a mini-wedding with parent dances, cale cutting, etc... We just kicked back and had fun and spent a lot more time with our guests than we did at our wedding!

Re: E-Party Etiquette
we just had a relaxed evening at my parents (they own a bed and breakfast) we all ate and danced and had fun.. my dad gave a simple speech.. and my parents hired an elvis impersonator.
i dont think theres really any 'rules' for an eparty except to go and have fun

Re: E-Party Etiquette
Ours was very laid back, we didn't even want gifts, we just wanted to celebrate with our close friends and family.
Towards the end of the night my DH stood up and toasted everyone and thanked them all for joining us to celebrate.

Re: E-Party Etiquette
I don't think anything has to be done. At both of our e-parties there were speeches. At the one hosted my parents, my dad and sister (MOH) made speeches. At the one hosted my our friends the BM made a speech followed by 3 our of friends. Another friend also put together a DVD slide show of us that was amazing!

Re: E-Party Etiquette
I am having my e-party this summer. I wasn't planning to do anything special other than food and music. I was thinking of getting a little something as a favor. Any thoughts on that?

Re: E-Party Etiquette
Ours was at a resturant in the city on Sunday during the day. We only had light backround music, basically we just mingled, everyone had a great time. My dad made a toast, that made my cry, , and we cut out cake.
