would it be crappy to invite our friends but not give them +1 for the e-party? we want to keep our number down for it and not all of our friends are in relationships. would this be weird not to give them +1s?

NOPE not at all...we are having an eparty and we did not invite everyone with a guest! It would have gotten out of control that way!

now what about the friends that are in relationships? its hard for us because some of them we're friends with both people so theyd be invited even if they werent a couple, others we dont know, and some we dont even like, lol

Invite only the people you're friends with. I dont think there is anything wrong with not inviting your friend's significant other. I hate +1 for the mere fact that some people go out and look for any random person to take with them so they have a date

Re: e-party etiquette
i took off all the +1's unless they are dating someone right now. its just the e-party not the wedding ya know. hard to keep the e-party from turning into a mini wedding

Re: e-party etiquette
There were some cases where we just couldnt avoid having some people...even ones who we didnt want to invite with a guest rsvped (to his mother---if they would have called me I would have said NO) But if you can avoid just inviting the one person then do that

Re: e-party etiquette
thanks guys. this is really just regarding friends of FH and I, not family. its hard because we've got a decent amount of friends, and plus ones double the number. if i can cut 20 people by not having plus ones, i'm all for it! but i wanted to get opinions before we did it, so thanks again

Re: e-party etiquette
There were some people who had significant others and we didnt include them...either because we didnt know them or just couldnt have that many people...
