Okay, I'm having my E-party the 25th of this month. We are doing a BBQ at a park I pratically grew up in. I was thinking as a favor for my guess was to take pine cones, code them in this all natural paste and dipped them in bird seed and make them a bird feeder. Then put them in a clear baggie, with a bow that reads 'Joe and Bonnie's Engagement Party, June 25th, 2005' What do you guys think?

hi- i LOVE the bird feeder idea- I know I am the odd one out!! we are doing something similar- wrapping packets of seeds with a bow and a tag on it- hope some people will plant it!
I agree, I think it's a GREAT favor. Maybe you could tie to a pretty satin ribbon in your wedding color. I personlly think it's great, but I think most people would shurg their shoulders.

Our E-Party is a backyard BBQ with about 80 people. We're not giving out any favors. You could always go to the dollor store, get a small frame, and put a 'save the date' in it. Truthfully, I think everything is getting out of hand. People are coming to a BBQ to eat and have a good time, I don't need a gift from them, and I don't need to go into debt buying them little trinkets. Sorry ladies...its just how I feel.

Well chocolate is going to melt, and I'm aware most people will throw them out. I just don't have the money to spend two to five bucks a favor. I'm having about a 100 people
I'm making the favors for our e-party that is next weekend. We're doing little silver tins with m&ms in them and then tying silver ribbon around them with a little metal tag that says thank you on it. I understand your point about the chocolate melting so you could do jellybeans or something. They will look like this only with m&ms. In total I spent $90 for 90 favors.
