e party favors?? To do or not to do?? Help!!!

What is the 'etiquette' on this???

Our e party is in FH's sister's backyard....

Do I do favors or no?

If yes? what kind?

not required but they can be a cute touch. For my e-party we didn't want to spend a lot so I just DIY'd chocolate lollipops...they came out really cute! (pics in my album)

We're just doing something small...
those cute little bride and groom favor boxes (Dollar Tree - $1 for 10) stuffed with personalized Hershey's kisses w/ our wedding date on it.

We had our eparty in a park. The theme was 'Yankees' so our favors were peanuts in a bag tied with ribbon. We made them ourselves along with favor tags. In the end, the supplies didn't cost more than $25-30. Everyone LOVED them- people took like 5 of them

i would do something small or DIY... nothing big, it's just an e party... maybe something with chocolate or candies?

We did chocolate truffles in little plastic jars. Got them from Morgan's Bay Confections in Babylon. They were delicious!

We made up Altoid tins with out picture on them. We filled them each with jordan almonds (koufeta for my Greek and Greek-friendly girls) and then put them at everyone's place setting. Worked out very well.

FH uses the tins for small computer parts like RAM.

Ok its def not necessary but nice to do. Originally I was going to have our E-party in my FIL's backyard. My thoughts were that I would give STD's as the favor.

Since the weather has been so crummy all summer we decided to move it to a restaurant. We are still giving the STD's out but I am also having a candy buffet and that will basically be the favor.

I decided to do my save the date magnets along with the mini bride and groom boxes filled with candy that one of the girls mentioned!!! You girls are the best!
