i think balloons are a good idea, if you are already gunna have flowers at the wedding. balloons are less expensive too, and still look nice

We are actually getting branches off of trees, spray painting them white, and hanging strings of beads from them and putting votives on the table. The party is this weekend, so its kind of a wintery thing.

I had a winter/snowflake theme for my eparty so we made our centerpeices ourselves with different items from AC moore (fake snow, pinecones, silver leaves and then different branches). I think we paid less than 100 dollars for 14 of them, so it wasnt too bad. These pictures are pretty crappy, but here they are:
