e-party invite help!

So our e-party is a backyard bqq at my parents house, and they have a pool. I don't want it to necessarily be a pool party but I also don't want to deprive guests (especially the kids) of an inviting pool on a hot June day. lol

So I don't want to say 'Bring suit and towel', but I want to say something like 'Swimming optional' or 'If you fancy a swim, bring a suit and towel'

do either of those work? any other suggestions?

the party is 4-8 so I'm thinking once the bigger crowd leaves the afterparty crowd (including myself) can then relax a bit and go in the pool for a night swim, so I'm going to tell my friends that at least so they know.

LOL! hahaha me too... sounds like its going to be a great eparty!!!

They just opened the pool for the season and I am sooooo excited for it to get a little warmer so I can go relax by it!! I go every weekend, its like going to a resort every weekend since I dont live there and they have a nice set up with chaise lounges and a tent. They even bring out the tv to the tent for yankee games!

i think it is totally appropriate to write either of your suggestions! ppl that want to swim will, and those that dont wont!
