Hi Everyone, My E-party is in two weeks and we originally planned to have it at my house....something small and quaint...mainly for close friends and bridal party members. I'm now thinking of renting out a small room nearby to make it easier. I live in Nassau...any suggestions? We are having like 30-35 people. I used to cater...so I really just need a room and maybe a bar option.
PLEASE HELP!!! I could use any information you may have.

why dont you see about having it at a vfw or american legion. thats where we were going to have ours but they were too small for us they only held about 70 people. we had ours at a firehouse and all the liquior and the bartenders were included. fm me for places and prices if you want

I would also say a VFW hall...or maybe so you don't have to worry about cooking and setting up go to a restaurant with everyone.

i actually called one VFW hall.. they rented it out for like 4 hrs i think for like $200.. use of the kitchen.. and chairs.. atleast that's what they said when i called....

Hi, Thanks for the help...great ideas. It's going to be so embarrassing if I change the location of the party now...but probably very worth it. I wish I was an American Legion member...LOL....they offer rooms for only $125 and it was beautiful...if interested....let me know...it was in Syosset.
I don't know where you are in Nassau, but there is an Elks Lodge in Lynbrook on Hempstead Ave that has a nice room. Also, theres the K of C in Oceanside that has smaller rooms. My parents 50th bday was there a while ago, but the food was great and the people we dealt with were awesome. GL!

I don't know exactly where you are, but I know the Milk and Sugar rents out the cafe for parties...I think there is a few of them on Island. I want my shower there... hahahah...well I hope to have my shower there, it isn't up to me....but I will drop hints!
