E party locations

We were planning on having our engagement party this summer at my parent's house with a tent, bar, etc., but now our parents are saying that they want to throw it for us somewhere else...

We are thinking maybe a golf course/catering hall out east with a large tent area outside for a daytime Saturday lunch... any suggestions??
