I need some advice.. as I have heard so many different things..
What does everyone think about giving speeches at the E-Party?????? Who shouild? etc?
We are having a relatively small one.... in the catering room of a restaurant.. about 60 people... bridal party and immediate family
so.... go for it.. i want your advice.. and im adding a little poll too!!!

My dad said a blessing prayer for us - which was incredibly sweet. And after we thanked my parents for paying for the party and for FH's parents and everyone else that helped us cook all the food. It was short and sweet though.

FH and I just got everyones attention and thanked everyone for coming and thanked our parents....it was like 30 seconds...nothing elaborate.

at our engagement party there was so much going on, it would of been impossible for everyone to stop what they are doing to listen to a speech.
Even when the food was served, everyone was into their casino games and card games,
If your having a more intimate e-party its probably more likely you can get everyones attention.
I would of done a speech if i had a different type of party
