E-Party today!!! UPDATE!! w pics!!!

We are finally having our engagement party today after what seems like forever, and that we would never get everyone together. I am freaking out!!! As some of you may know, my mom and I have major issues, as she is a seriously psycho, nasty, combattive, biatch. Sorry if I offended anyone with that statement, but if you knew my situation it wouldn't sound so mean, because she is really a huge biatch and has made my engagement so bittersweet and drama filled, very sad. I am so freaked out that she is gonna have too much wine and say offensive, or out of line things. She is very unpredictable. Also, I fear that she and her piranha-like fashionista friends are gonna snicker about my FH's mom and family who are kinda frumpy or 'tacky' to use her favorite word. Yeah, she's that bad. I'm sure everything will be fine, but I'm really buggin. I mean 67 freaking people are coming to this!!! BUGGIN. I've never done anything like this before, and it's like pre-wedding freakout also.

ETA: Not to offend the fashionistas out there, as I am an LV carrying member of the team

UPDATE: So we had a great time tonight! Everyone came, and everyone had a blast! The food was great, or so I hear, because I really didn't get to eat a lot of it! I had some of the passed hors d'oeuvres and they were great! The Metropolitan in Glen Cove did a really great job! My mom was great, no drama, and our families got along really well. My FSIL who is kooky grabbed my dad's face like a million times when she first met him it was really funny and kind of weird. Here are some pics that we took, I will post pro pics (FH's uncle is a photog, and he took photos for us all night, it was really nice of him) with my review. Thanks for all your support ladies, it really helped! I was a ball of nerves at first. Thanks again.

HAAAAAAAAAAAA HAHAHA!!! Actually, she couldn't do anything about the cubes of cheese at this party!!!!!!!!! HAAAAA!!! I was just looking at our wedding contract yesterday and it literally says 'wheels of cheese to be present during CH'

You prepping yourself for the worst will only leave you thrilled if things pan out better. Try to just focus on everyone wishing you well and not keeping an eye on what your mom and her friends are doing. This is a day to celebrate you and your FH.. I'm sure it will be an awesome day
