I got back from my E-pics a little while ago and I have to say I'm a little dissapointed with my photographer. When booking, we saw his work and spoke to the owner who raved about him. FH and I liked his style and how it wasn't traditional looking, more of a photojournalistic/artistic feel. Well after the E-pic shoot...we felt that all our pictures looked exactly the same. It's the two of us standing next to eacher, holding hands etc. We had to ask him to do a few more artisitc shots. We are really worried that all our photographs will be like this. What do we do now?

May I ask who the photog is....FM me if you like... I have a feeling I know who it may be...
Maybe you should talk to the owner...see if he's willing to work with you about this issue...it can't hurt...

well, i wouldnt jump to any conclusions, you haven't seen them yet...try to be patient & optimistic, you may find you were worried for nothing, i hope they came out great~

well maybe thats another reason for e-pics. it gives you a chance to see how you work with your photographers. why not talk to the owner and see if there is another photographer he can set you up with.

i hated my e-pics as well, partly because i'm not used to standing and posing for the camera in that way. if you have any concerns with your photographer, i would definitely bring that up with him. explain to him what you didn't like about your e-pics, and see how he responds.

i'm sorry you had a bad experience. could you fm the name to me as well? wait for the proofs, see how they turn out, but definitely voice your concerns if you're not happy

I hated my e pics too.
I think talking with your photog is the best thing to do.

Thanks ladies. I know a few of you asked who my photog is. I dont want to start badmouthing them just yet. I really was impressed with them when we met and booked them. I will get my proofs and when I know for sure if i like them or not I'll let you know. Sorry I'm not trying to be rude, and I hope nobody takes offense. I really think they are a good company...Just maybe my tastes arent the same as our photographer. I will keep you guys posted :)

e-pics are more posed - they kinda have to be- there isnt much going on. its not like at the wedding where people are moving and dancing or random stuff is happening
dont be dissapointed. just because these pics arent as photojournalitic as you would have hoped your wedding will be.

I agree! and talk to your photographer about this not happening at the wedding!
