e-pics

Our epics are scheduled for next Thursday in Central Park but as of now it looks like it's going to rain. We absolutely HAVE to take our pics that day so I want to have a back up option that's inside. Does anyone know of any buildings that are really pretty/cool inside and that would make for some great pics? We already thought of Grand Central so anywhere other than that, pleaseeee! TIA

Thanks sooooooooo much ladies! You're the best

If you want the city I would call the Gugenheim and the Museum of Natural History.

I am so sorry!! Ours is next Tuesday, rescheduled from last week. I really don't want to reschedule. It is so frustrating!!! This has been the WORST YEAR EVER weather-wise.

I love e-shoots in Grand Central Station!

I work in a Museum and I think that when people take pics in museums they get chased out . . . just FYI. I don't think we allow it (MoMA).

FYI Gugenheim is under renovations right now, there are only about 3 galleries open, and not the corridor. at least thats what was going on 2 weeks ago when I went there

Britney, I am having the same problem. our epix will be prob in Oct/Nov and I MUST have a back up plan for an inside location, cause the shoot was already canceled once b/c of rain

You can also go to the:
Manhattan Library (From Sex in the City)
or
The Metropolitan Museum of Art

Also, you could call the Plaza and see if they would let you take pictures in their lobby.

The Guggenheim is closed Thursdays (I used to work there) and I don't think you could do it there anyway. One bride did their epics at the Cloisters in the Bronx, which is part of the Met, but they did get chased out after a little bit. They had some nice pictures though . . ..

Re: e-pics

Don't stress now about the rain. My e-pics were today and all last week I was fraking out, checking the weather. It really does change a lot as it gets closer so I wouldn't worry. Having a back-up though is a smart idea. I'm sorry I can't think of any aside from Grand Central. That'd be a really nice place.
