I was wondering if anyone had any good suggestions for places to take our e-pics? We want to do them late May-early June and want a place with lots of flowers and greenery. Someone told me about the gardens at SUNY Farmingdale - has anyone been there before?

Haven't been there - but what about out east - wineries?
Clark Gardens? - you may have to pay a cite fee here, although I'm sure you could figure a way around it.
I wanted a garden type setting too, but I can't find a place that doesn't charge over $100 which I think is ridiculous for a one hour photo shoot with 2 people and one photographer.
The Farmingdale Garden is $200 I believe.
The Nassau County Museum of Art which has a beautiful garden is at least $150.
when we did ours, we paid only $100. not sure if they changed pricing...

We did ours at Gantry State Plaza/Long Island City Piers. I think it's a great spot for pics because there is so many different spots to get good shots. You also have the city in the background across the water.

Also, we didn't need a permit to take pictures there though our photographer (who is a friend of mine) didn't have any big equipment with her. She just looked like 3 friends hanging out and taking pictures so no one bothered us.
