E-Pics are ready but not in digital?Question! UPDATE

So I just got the call my e-pics were ready but I'm not getting them on a disc? I was told they were prints - is this normal? (epics were included in my package) I'm a little annoyed because I'll prob be seeing FH in July sometime and wanted to email them to him!

Also how / where can I take them to have them made into digitals?

So I called my photog again, made my appt to come pick up the pics and got some clarification on the disc issue - he's giving me one!! Thanks for your suggestions everyone!

Now I just have to wait till next saturday to get them!!

can you scan them and email them to him now so at least he can see it soon

Mine came in prints only also, we actually had a album made out of them. I scanned them to put on my computer and the quality did not come out well

Probably - at my parent's house but I'm still a little frustrated that they are not on a cd or something - unless that's common practice and I don't know!

Oh well - and bummer - I can't get out to LI to pick them up till next week! The waiting is going to drive me nuts!! (still working on finishing school!)

Hmm okay so maybe this is just how it's done. I've scanned pics before and they never some out that great so I hear ya! I'll probably see if (they aren't marked on the back) I can take them to a photo store and have them converted to digi's! I like the idea of an album though - cute!!

go to a photo place, ask them to make a negative from the pic you gave them and ask for copies...try a photoshop rather than cvs or somethinglike that bc i had this done years ago when i wanted copies of a pic, but when i went to cvs recently to do it the guy looked at me like i had 2 heads, he couldnt even say oh no this is def not done he just didnt know what to say and when i said its been done before he gave me the stupidest suggestion, and when i said uhmmm isn't it easier if i do so and so he was like oh yeah i guess

Hahaah - yeah I hear you on the CVS photo places! I've never had good luck at them!! Alot of times they are not very experienced with photo stuff - most of it gets sent out. I can just imagine you- 'ive had this done before! hello mr photoguy!'

I have to ask if we are getting all the shots...on CD

Aww Mary.. that stinks! I was really looking foward to seeing them... Did you complain to them about it? Is it written on your contract that they would be digital? If not, maybe ask them how much it would cost to make them digital. Oh and I would ask now, if your wedding proofs will be on cd

There are a lot of girls who used velvet, that is your photographer right? Ask the other girls what they did with their e-pics

No Im using Lavender....but yeah i did ask if he did them on a cd and he said no. When I go pick them up I'm gonna ask if he can give me a cd as well......and good point Megan - if my wedding proofs are digi too!! That is key!

Thanks!! I can't wait to see them - we had such a perfect day weatherwise (did them on the beach!)

No didn't ask about that yet but I want to check my contract first and then I'll speak to them in person if I need to.
