I've got the clothes all picked out, thank goodness I didn't need to bug you gals with that.
BUT here's my question ...
* Should I just do my makeup myself?
* Or should I run to the mall before to Mac or something?
I didn't really want to be too 'made up' - wanted more of a natural / casual look.
If you think I should have my makeup done, do you have any suggestions?

even though you don't want to be made up, i know that when most people do their own make-up, it doesn't show up well in pics, and there is a chance you could look washed out. if it were me, i would go to MAC and tell them you want something 'light' but still done and pretty. good luck and have fun!!

since you mention that looking natural is important to you, i'd do it yourself, that way you know you'll be satisfied with the results. If you have it done professionally, you run the risk of hating the lipstick color, having way too dark eyeliner, or some other problem. good luck and have fun!

I would run to the mall and get it done, maybe not MAC. But thats what I would do. With a professional photographer you run the risk of looking washed out and pale. Tell them very natural looking and while they are doing it if you dont like something stop them.

I would personally do it yourself... at least you know what you are getting- if you go to someone you may not like it and if you don't have any time in between you may be stuck with it. Unless you go early and have time to wash your face if you don't like it?? In that case it can't hurt to try it- just make sure you have time to take it off if you aren't happy!

I had a make-up trial for the wedding on the day of my e-Pics. I LOVED the way the make-up came out, and it gave me a chance to see how it would photograph.
HOWEVER, my timing was way off. The trial ran late, and I almost missed the photo shoot! Be careful with timing if you opt for the make-up beforehand.

TIP! Keep a lip gloss/lipstick in your pocket or close by...they do a lot of kissing shots and I wish I had reapplied towards the end!!! HTH

Jessica, you have a very pretty naturual look, so I wouldn't go crazy w/makeup. Just a little blush and lipstick/eyemakeup and you'll be fine. Have fun taking your e-pics. Looking forward to seeing them.

I would do it yourself but maybe a little darker than your everyday. We just had ours done this weekend and as someone mentioined above bring your lipgloss or lipstick. It wears off quickly with all the kissing shots! Have fun!

Thanks again for all the advice - I decided to do my own makeup .... just got back and am going through the pics, I think I made a good choice
