E-pics: how many do you get of them?

I just scheduled my e-pic shoot with my photographer and he said he'll be taking 20 pictures. Is that the 'average' amount? (This was 'included' in the package deal I got for the wedding).

Edited to say: Okay, now I feel like I'm not getting my money's worth... Does anyone have any suggestions on what I should do?

Our shoot was about a half an hour. We went to 8 separate spots around DUMBO. We ended up with about 100 or so shots.

We spent over 2 hrs with the photographer, and we got the disk with 285 pictures on it, and we can print the pictures ourselves. I liked it better this way. We have all 285 pictures to work with.

Was the engagement shoot an extra cost? If not, do you mind telling me how much you spent on your package? Thanks!!

Our engagement shoot was included in the package we chose, and the total cost for the entire package was a little over $1700. Our photographer is amazing and I am so happy with him, and I highly recommend him to anyone who is willing to take a risk and not use a well known photographer from this site. My epics are in my album and this is just a handful. I had 285 to pick from.

Thanks for the info! I'm paying about the same as you are, so hopefully he'll be open to take more pictures.
