Re: E-pics location help!!!
if you're willing to travel to northern Manhattan, you can go to Fort Tryon Park (where the Cloisters are) where we took our photos
if you're not willing to travel, then how about Sands Point Reserve, Vanderbuilt Mansion, Planting Fields Arboretum
...or a local park?

I think it depends on what you two like - what are you into ? Sports, the beach, calm & serene park setting, the playground (on the swings)

Uplands Farms- part of the Nature Conservancy in Cold Spring Harbor
Bayard Cutting Arboretum is gorgeous. South shore of long island near great river. Ton of flowers, fields and the water is there too. Its like $6 entry fee per car.

we are doing the pics at 6pm and it says they are only open til 5pm....and the other problem i'm having is on all of these places websites, it says any professional pictures you are doing, you need a permit and its $50...

That's where we are doing our wedding pics. I didnt think u needed a permit for e-pics. It is completely worth it though. I think they are open til sunset now. Or what about one of the beaches such as jones beach or robert moses?
