FH and I need to do our E-pics soon. However, we have no clue where to go do them! We're looking for a place that is free, preferably on LI (near to Wantagh), and can offer a variety of backgrounds. TYIA!
we went to venetian shores in lindenhurst, it's not too far from Wantagh. You can also go to Argyle park in lindenhurst. Both are free. I'm not too sure of where to go in Nassau maybe long beach?
We did ours at Robert Moses, Field 5. It worked out great because you had the beach, the boardwalk, the lighthouse and some benches for photos. Lots of different backgrounds. They came out really well!

I did some on the boardwalk at Jones Beach, and on the beach in Long Beach. Also did some at the bowling alley and the garden city gazebo but these two places are limited.
