I know I've seen this question asked before, but I can't find the thread. I'm sorry for repeating!
My e-pics are coming up next week and I'm not sure whether to tip my photographer or not. To add to my confusion, he owns his own company. I was going to just tip on our wedding day, but if tips are expected I don't want to offend him! For those of you who took your epics already, did you tip?

I did not. I didn't even think to. It was part of my package, I tipped on my wedding day.

We originally weren't going to do epics, so it's not in our package. We called after the contract and added it, so it's not included in the total on our contract. He gave us a price to pay in cash the day of the epics plus a travel fee since we're making him trek out east lol. We're using the same photographer though, so I'm assuming the wedding day tip will cover the e-pics even though it's not in the contract?

I'm all about the tipping, but when we did our engagement pics I felt kind of weird handing him an envelope on the beach so I just plan to give him extra after the wedding.

Just had our e-pics today. it was part of our package deal and we did not tip. he's the same photog as our wedding day so he'll get a tip then.

We tipped. Didn't have the owner but she spent over an hour and half with us. She took her time n I didn't feel rushed. Also, I think tipping at e-shoot sends a positive message.

We tipped. Our e pictures were taken by the owner of the company. I believe that you always tip for good service.

Thanks ladies! Since our epics are at a vineyard, I think I'm going to offer to buy him a bottle of wine and then tip for everything on the wedding day.

we def tipped! it sets a good tone for your wedding
and besides the fact that i made him drive all the way out east, AND in the pouring rain.. he was amazing. (and he is the owner)
sorry but if someone is doing you a service, no matter what, you need to tip. its just the right thing to do.

I think offering is the right thing to do! My fh and I tried to tip and he wouldn't take it. He drove far to meet us and spent literally over 2 hrs with us..we will def. give him a bigger tip on our wedding day!
