e-pics today with Patken....

I hate my outfit, my hair isn't cooperating, my makeup looks like crap... my fingers are all cut up (stupid papercut- on my left ring finger), I have bags under my eyes....

I should just reschedule. (but FH and I both want to just get it over with)

ANYWAY- (sorry for the minivent)

What should we expect? we're doing them at the studio in lindenhurst- no clue who our photographer is.

FH wants all pictures from the chest- up. but I do want some far away shots... I'm just going to let the photographer take control... but I just want to know what to expect so I won't argue with FH so much.

i had a blast when we did ours although he didnt take as many pixs as some of the other girls who took pix there prob cuz i was cracking up the whole time and couldnt keep a straight face... but most of the shots are chest up with a few away shots... thats pretty much it ..

we tried so hard not to laugh.

dont worry about the cut on your finger. they can fix that
i had some zits the day of our eshoot and i wanted to cancel but didnt. man they do a great job on retouching

we did our e-pics at the lindenhurst location about a month ago..... at the time they were still renovating the studio, so ours were outside the studio in front of some trees. The session itself took 20 minutes but it was enjoyable. The photog is probably going to take a bunch of shots of you guys from the shoulders up only... they give a lot of direction. Some of the shots might make you feel funny but they are just seeing what your comfertable with... just go with it. Then like 20 minutes later they will show you your pictures!! You can choose one for save-the-dates ( that i believe are included in the package) and buy whatever ones you like. We actually liked a lot of our shots and were very suprised. After the shoot I felt very confident in PAtken. I know they are going to do great at my wedding!!

Anyways this was MY experience... dont hold me to everything!! I dont know if everything they did with us is customary or not, but im assuming so...

also- they are great with re-touching... I put my hair up to the side without realixzing it gave me a big BALD SPOT!!! I was like OMG all the pics are ruined when I saw them... the photog was like, dont you worry and left the office, came back and my hair was colored in perfectly. You couldnt tell!!

so approx how long do you think we'll be there??
I kinda promised a friend I'd meet her at 8:00.
I'm pretty sure they said that it takes an hour, but I don't remember, we booked sooo long ago!

also- do you remember how much the shots were? did you get them right then and there?
