E pics tomorrow-FINALLY!! and a funny story too

Soooo funny,

I got a fabulous new Alice & Olivia dress on ebay last month...I've tried it on a few times, even brought it to the dry cleaner to have cleaned and pressed.

Well tonight I find a theft tag on it!!! OMG the dress was stolen and sold on ebay!! How did I try it on so much and never notice that?? Its not like the thing was small....

So FH and I had the pliers and chisels out, thankfully there was no damage to the dress and we got the tag off. But geez!


So tomorrow afternoon we're going to shoot in Brooklyn Heights/DUMBO.

Can't wait!

Because I'm so dumb right now.. im confused.

I have to schedule mine. How long in advance did you book yours?

I feel like everyone took theirs a long time ago. You make me feel better because yours are only tomorrow.

HAHA ok here goes:

I bought a dress on ebay-it was new and had tags on it..never worn..
I inspected it when it arrived, tried it on, loved it.

I brought it to the dry cleaners to get cleaned and steamed, tried it on afterwards to see how it looked (I love the dress)

So this morning I hung it on the door-when I got home I notice a metal thumb tac sized thing on the side seam of the skirt.

All of a sudden I realized that the security tag was never taken off-the ebay seller must have stole it and then put it for sale on ebay!!
And how could I never have noticed the security tag??

Sooo random.

I was semi freaking out b/c I didn't know if we'd be able to get it off. Thankfully FH did some Inspector Gadget maneveurs and got it off, with barely any damage to the dress.

But OMG I bought a stolen dress but I didn't know it was stolen!!!!!!!!!!!

We just called the photographer like 3 weeks ago.

And we're about 6 weeks from the wedding date (as of Saturday).

We waited to take e-pics. We wanted to use it as a trial run for the wedding, and stay fresh in their minds. And plus for vanity reasons I wanted to wait till my hair grew out b/c it was Victoria Beckham short last year when we got engaged.

my god I am even dumber than I could have imagined!! You mean that ink thingy. I pictured a big red thing that sayd THEFT on it!!! OMG!!!!!!!!
I'm in some serious need of sleep!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't stop laughing at this!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm sooo sorry to make you write all that out for my apparnt pea sized brain tonight!!!


ehh I hope you at least got a good deal out of it. You didn't do anything wrong... so nothing to be guilty about. haha. as long as you got a good deal though becuase apparantly that ebay seller got it for nothing!!!

I'm at that point of being so tired everything is becomming funny to me. even the address crap!! now i find it funny!!!
