hey congrats on your engagement! i used to not like to wear my ring to work, because all the hand washing i do and i was scared to take it off and forget it. but now i wear it all the time i guess whatever works better for you. the only thing i find strange is that your washing your hands but putting something that was on them b4 washing into your mouth, but thats just my little ocd....congrats again!! happy planning.

I leave mine on...and every 2 or 3 months i bring it to my jewerler to clean it...she put in lye chemical which eat any dirt on my ring.

Congrats on the engagement! I keep my e-ring on when I wash my hands, but i do the same thing when I put lotion on my hands. I'm afraid it will go down the sink if I put it down

I am so glad that I am not the only nut out there!!!

The only time I take it of is when I am getting ready (showering and all that other girly stuff) and it goes right back into its original box!

I am sure with time I will just leave it on... but for now, they could all just stare at me!!!

It was suggested by my jeweler that I don't wash my hands with my ring on, so I stick it in my pocket for a quick minute while I wash and dry my hands.

I still do it, bc my wedding and e-rings both have diamonds that I don't want to look dirty/unpolished.

Congrats on your engagement!!!!!

The only thing I take mine off for is lotion and making meatballs or dough ...it's so hard to clean that stuff out of the prongs.

I took it off to dye fabric last weekend and felt so wierd without it on, I kept having mini heart attacks thinking ti was gone

I either put it in my mouth (because by the sink would be dangerous) or I just leave it on...depends on where I am and the soap I'm using (kinda hard to leave the ring on when you are using a bar of soap much easier when it is liquid soap)

You are too funny Ang!! I actually stopped wearing a ring on my other finger for a while, because I was afraid that one diamond would rub up on the other and scratch it!! You're not a nut!!

I don't always feel like getting my ring wet but I don't want to put it on the sink and have it go down the drain or forget to put it back on, so I just put it in my mouth w/ the diamond sticking out. I always feel silly doing it but I think it's the best way to keep it safe when u take it off.

haha That's great!!!! I always leave it on when I'm washing my hands.. and last time I went to get it cleaned (I bring it back to the place where my FH bought it) and he laughed at me- told me my ring was taking a bubble bath in the cleaning solution due to how often I wash my hands! At least I know all that soap came off!!
