where can i go in the city or elsewhere near queens. brooklyn..etc. to get my ring appraised and insured? i tried a few places but they said they don't do appraisals...???? someone told me macy's on 34th st? but i'm not sure.. also about how much does it cost?

BTW: i would open to a good place on LI also.. even though it's easier for me to travel within brooklyn, Queens and Manhattan i'll be doing some dress shopping out on the Island and can probably squeeze it in! thnx
