With my E-ring came a GSA certificate (bought at Elsa). I am looking at getting my ring insured, but am unsure if I should get it appraised by an independent appraiser or is the GSA certificate enough?
I believe you need an appraisal before getting insurance. I went through jewelers mutual but i think they just changed the name of their company. Circle something. HTH
There is a jewlery judge in Garden City who can insure it. Then contact an insurance company for the insurance aspect. Jewelers Mutual gave me the best price for my ering.

Elsa might be able to give you the appraisal as well. I got my appraisal from the jeweler.
I got a warranty on my ring through Jared's. I also got it appraised and insured through my homeowners insurance on the price it was appraised. Its was well worth it!
