Hi ladies. I have not been to the gym since before I got my ring (11/1/04) and am trying to decide what to do with it during my work out.
Does anyone wear there ring at the gym? Does anyone simply put it in the locker? I go in the mornings (near work in Manhattan) so I can't leave it at home (Brooklyn) and then go put it on for work.

I usually take mine off and leave it home. But, I would go afterwork.
I would be too paranoid to leave it in the locker. I would just leave it on.

I have a gym @ my job, and i leave it in the locker. I know, I am taking chances, but I don't want to bang it or destroy it from weights hitting it .

The only time I wear my ring(s) to the gym is when I'm doing only cardio or legs. If I'm lifting weights I won't wear it/them because a) they get in the way of my weight gloves and b) the rings would get all scratched up from the weights.
I feel so weird not wearing my rings, but I'd rather not ruin them! (And I'd NEVER leave them in the locker!)

I wear both rings at the gym. I got used to them. I have a callus(sp?) there now so I don't feel them anymore. I don't ever take my rings off. I lost a diamond ring because I forgot to put it back on once. Never again!!!
I was going to get a wedding band ring that had the diamonds all the way around, but I knew that it would be a problem with my weight trainning, so I got the diamonds just on the top. Now I can wear the ring all day and not worry about them.

I wear both my e-ring and wedding band at the gym too. I am just a little more careful when I lift weights.

I wear both rings when I'm at the gym and I wear gloves when I'm lifting weights to protect the rings.

I wear both except for when I take kick boxing classes cause we ahve to punch the bags!!! So I leave them at home on those days!

Jenn524, you say you wear gloves. I was thinking of buying gloves but aren't they too tight and your ring kind of sticks our, or if you got a larger glove I would think that is uncomfortable and try to slip off or something.
