E-Ring broken! Platnum cracked.

Of all the things.

So FH and I noticed that my e-ring was oval not round.

Odd.

We had the jeweler look at it and they said it was ok. They also took that ring and sized it on one of those sizing posts for my wedding band.

FH and I noticed last night that there is a crack in the platnum right at the base. Probably putting it on the size rod broke it.

So NOW im without the ring for about a week while it gets fixed.

And 3 weeks before the wedding.

I feel NAKED!!!!!

Mine cracked as well... but it cracked right where it was soddered when re-sizing it... I had it fixed by someone in the bowery and they did an awesome job and i have no issues with it now... it was fixed on the spot as well... sorry to hear you're going to be without it for so long... i know its hard when you keep feeling your finger for it and its not there

I know how weird it is to be without it. FH wouldn't let me take my ring on vacation, so I was without it for 8 days. My finger was so lonely!

Same! I got it fixed and then polished and it looks great!

The only reason it will be gone for so long is we dont bring it in till Saturday (2 days0 then it wont be done till tuesday (4 days) pickup on wed. (1 day)

Sorry to hear- unfortunately with Platinum- it cracks after sizing.

I hope it's fixed for you ASAP so you can enjoy your ring. Look at it this way- it will be like brand new!
