Does anyone know how I can get my ring insured? We don't officially own our co-op yet, and we live with my parents right now so I don't know how I can get this thing insured. Is there any other way besides putting it under your homeowners or renters insurance??

Re: E-Ring Insurance
have you ring appraised and then go on the jewelrymutual.com and you can get ins through them. That is where mine is from and mine cost only 30 dollars and that is for 0 dec. that covers loose diamond, lost diamond, stole or lost. for like 3 carats its $100. it is cheap.. mine is .80carats and its 30 dollars

Re: E-Ring Insurance
Check your homeowner's or renter's insurance first. The increase on that policy may be less than getting an entirely new one.

I work for an Insurance company... as long as you have your ring appraised you can get insurance solely for your ring. I sell a special policy that is called made specifically for Engagement rings! FM me for info!!!!

Re: E-Ring Insurance
You need an appraisal from your jewler. I got insurance from Jewlers Mutual as well, and it was about 130 per year...but a small deductible.

I just got mine insured a few weeks ago we used Jewelersrmutual.com It's safe we checked it out on the BBB you have to get an appraisal, we got one done at MAcy's on 34th street they give you a computer print out right then and there. It was easy it just takes a few steps.
