Can anyone give me more info on this subject. what is covered etc.? When we purchased my e-ring we bought the protection policy, basically if the ring is loast, damaged, stolen etc. they either fix or replace the ring. Unfortunately one of the channel set diamonds is out of place and the jeweler has not been able to fix it. We are supposed to only go to them for any repairs but I just want it fixed. I would like to see what another jeweler can do but then I'd have to have it insured seperately. Can anyone recommend a jeweler for repairs or a company the provides insurance?

Re: E-ring insurance and jewelers
Thanks! I can't wait to have this ring fixed because then it will be PERFECT! I find it so annoying that they say I can't take it anywhere else but they can't fix it!! Ughhh... I've already told people looking to get engaged not to go to Zales.

Re: E-ring insurance and jewelers
you can also insure your ring through your homeowner's or renter's policy- it's an add on to the existing policy.

Re: E-ring insurance and jewelers
We put the ring under my parents home owners insurance through Allstate. We paid less then $200 for the year. It covers everything. And I can go anywhere I want to have it fixed. GENNARO's in Bellmore is aweome, if you need an honest and amazing jeweler. I highly recommend them. We usually work w/ Ray when we go there, he is great. Good Luck!!

When we got my ring appraised they told us to check out Jewelers Mutual Insurance. You can look into them as well.

Re: E-ring insurance and jewelers
We have a homeowners policy and to put my e-ring on there would have made it increased by another $500-- redic! SO, I called State Farm and guess what..for like $250 a year, my ring is covered from soup to nuts. Good luck!

Re: E-ring insurance and jewelers
I have mine covered as a rider on my renters insurance. The cost of your insurance premium is going to be based on the cost of your ring. The insurance should cover everything.
