My ring is chipped. I freaked out about this a few days ago and then told myself I was being crazy. Well today my jewler said nope- it's def chipped. He said it's not that hard to do and he see's it happen alot! I was shocked. He said it's near impossible to scratch a diamond but you can chip it. He says common chips are the corners of Princess stones and points. But my stone is round and average size and I chipped it. He is fixing it for me and he said it's not a big deal and I won't loose any size. I won't have my ring for a week. Im so sad without it.
At least im bride of the week!

Thank god it didn't fall out of the setting. My sister chipped hers and it fell out of the setting and lost it. She didn't even realize it happened. My BIL had to buy her another one because she did not insure hers.

Omg that's a real nightmare. Im so grateful this isn't alot worse. I would be getting a cubic Z in it's place if I lost it FH already told me.

I'm sorry that your nightmare was confirmed , its a good thing that it was caught early, just think your ring will be as good as new when you get it back, unfortunately i am going through the same thing as you

OMG! what happened to yours? I hope I get mine back in a week ,he's saying it might be 10 days. It needs to be fixed by some fancy machine.

well my guy has 2 places n the one i go to hes only there thurs fri sat n sun... and he needed to resize my ring it s too big and also i noticed one of the diamonds on the side was lifted a lilttle bit n i dont want it missing!! soooo i finally took it to him... hopefullyyyyyy ill go pick it up this weekend... i miss it lol its bad enough i barely wear it cuz of work n now i dont have it at all hopefully ur ring is bak asap!!

Well, at least you're getting it fixed! I have to go get my ring resized and I'm also going to have them check for chips, etc. I have baguettes in my setting and I'm so afraid one of them is going to pop out.
